Bomgar is our remote support tool. This tool allows IT personnel with your permission to remotely view your workstation and solve issues you may be experiencing. Please follow the steps below to ensure the best support experience possible.
- First, please contact your respective IT office/personel via phone, email, or Spark and explain the issue you are experiencing. In some cases a Bomgar session may be unncessary. If you are unsure who to contact, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 541-346-1130 and someone will assist you.
- If requested by IT Staff, please visit http://rs.uoregon.edu(or click on button below to launch the page) and click on the name of the IT member whom you are working with.
- After clicking the IT member's name, please save the file to your computer, find the file, and run it. You will see an animation appear on the screen indicating that a connection is in progress. This may take up to a minute or more to fully complete.
- You will now be connected with that IT member who can begin to further troubleshoot the issue.
